The room footprint is imitated by a set of 4 silk organza curtains hung from the ceilng and 3' in from the walls. The curtains are pulled up in the "Roman Shade" style. They are strung up by black cords and weighted to the floor by plaster weights finished in the "Venetian plaster" method. Sitting in the middle of the volume are a set of theatrical lights. They are fitted with "gobos", laser cut disks, that slowly rotate in front of the light. This creates a light effect on the ceiling that looks like the reflection of light off of moving water.
