Also seen are 8 of the 15 school clocks that line the room, each labeled with the name of city and telling the correct time in that city. The checkerboard floor is gently arced such that the viewer seems to be walking atop the top slice of a vast sphere (the center of the floor is only 5" higher than the outer perimeter edges).
